Mercy Springfield Hospital 11/4/26

I was out working when I suddenly needed medical attention. My stomach and gut were having issues. I was closest to Springfield Mercy. Upon arriving I was waiting to see a physician. The Dr came in and was very nice, he ended up admitting me into the hospital for more evaluations. He asked about my gut and my breathing capacity. I went with Noah and we went to the 9th floor on the elevator, but as we started to go up my personal Jean jacket got caught outside the elevator doors so I dropped it knowing if I held on I would get hurt. I also knew I wouldn’t be getting my nice jacket back. I heard it drop to the floor. The elevator moved quickly to the 9th floor, almost making us dizzy. When we arrived I saw that there were no rooms. It was just a skinny walkway with hospital beds so close that friends and family had no room to stay. There was no privacy and no room for my family. I said what is this? There were no other occupied beds, it was all empty and the floor was quiet. I told Noah I wanted to transfer back to Joplin, this place was weird and I was not interested in staying.

As we were leaving I heard that all the patients were rotated to a different floor, but I still didn’t want to stay.

I also vaguely remember at the Dr office a pregnant woman giving birth, and I mentioned how I had a baby there before.
